It might surprise you to learn that Long Island-native dubstep connoisseur Ray Volpe is only a shocking 22 years of age, despite having releases that stretch back the better half of a decade, with his debut Main Event EP, which premiered back in 2013.
With a steady stream of noteworthy releases through Kairos Audio, Dim Mak Records, and BITE THIS! early in his career, Ray Volpe has developed into a household name within the bass community, which has only heightened his work ethic. This past year alone furnished the release of his No Emotion Allowed EP and the subsequent remix compilation, a handful of standalone singles, as well as official remixes for the likes of Boombox Cartel, Ookay, and Jauz.
The diversity and dexterity of Ray Volpe’s style coupled with his tireless work ethic are what truly sets him apart from the masses, he can just as comfortably tote a harmonious melody with vivid, emotional vocals as a grimy breakdown launching into a monstrous, bass-clad drop.
In his latest sonic conquest, Ray Volpe solidifies his imprint within the upper echelon of dubstep production, gracing the ranks of Never Say Die Records for the release of his Purpose EP, which further divulges the complexity and creative brilliance of his style, priming Volpe for yet another year of topping the charts.
